This is a new aftermarket replacement starter. It is an offset gear reduction style which is lighter weight to reduce stress on the flywheel ring gear and spins fast so it is easier on the engine. It is more efficient and a better design than the original direct drive style starter.
Note: This starter is off-set to clear steering arm. Bolt hole spacing is 4.75″ center to center.
